In this study, Jesus is quoted rebuking Satan after having been personally rebuked by Peter. Even though Peter spoke the rebuke, Jesus knew who the enemy really was. I don't know about you, but for me one of the hardest things in life for me to remember is who my enemy really is. Ephesians 6:12 tells us that our battles are not waged against physical opponents, but against principalities and powers of wicked spiritual forces in high places of the supernatural sphere. To put it another way, none of our enemies are human. No matter what's going on, our enemies are invisible super-beings who've been waging war against the people of God for thousands of years. They use human beings and circumstances in our lives as camouflage. If you're a Christian, that means you signed up for this whether you like it or not because Ephesians 6:12 doesn't seem to give us any option to go A.W.O.L. Fortunately for us, everything that follows verse 12 in Ephesians 6 turns out to be a military intelligence report from Paul concerning spiritual warfare. Listed from verse 14 to 18 is a complete tactical of the enemies' battle-plans, the weapons they use and the spots they target. Also given in this valuable intel is a list of weapons AT OUR DISPOSAL that Paul calls THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD. Jesus called these weapons, THE KEYS OF THE KINGDOM.
